Registering your child for a CCSD School

New Students

To register your child for a CCSD school:

1. Gather the following documents required for registration.
   All required documentation and forms, including the notarized affidavit, must be emailed directly to schools.  Due to ongoing updates on social distancing restrictions, school offices will not be open to receive registration documents.
   1. Child's Legal Birth Certificate
   2. SC Certificate of Immunization
   3. Notarized Affidavit of Residency
   4. One document for residence verification
      • Signed and dated current lease
      • Most recent real property tax bill
      • Copy of the ratified contract for purchase with the date of closing
      • Copy of the ratified contract for construction
   5. One document for mail verification
      • Electric or gas bill
      • Water bill
      • Phone bill (NOT cell phone)
      • Cable bill or internet bill
      • Car registration (NOT driver’s license)
      • Pay stub (must show employer’s name and current pay period, name and address of the parent/guardian)
      • Local, state, or federal agency correspondence that reflects the name and address of the parent/guardian (Social Security, Medicaid, DSS, IRS, court documents, etc.)
   6. Parent/Guardian Photo ID
2. Complete the registration process.
   1. No child can be registered without filling out an application online. Please refer to the link above to begin the application online.

Please Note: The registration process is not complete until the school reviews and approves all registration forms and required documents.
