Go to Work with a Grown Up Day
“Go to Work With a Grown Up”
On Wednesday, April 22nd, our school will be participating in the National Bring Your Child to Work day by having our own “Go to Work With a Grown Up” day. This is an opportunity for students to shadow parents, relatives or close family friends at their place of work. Grown ups will need to fill out the permission form on page 3 of the Job Shadow Packet in order for their child to participate. Please email completed permission forms to your student’s counselor. Or, send a printed copy of the signed permission form to school with your student.
Upstairs Counselor (Quickhatch/Bone Crushers): caroline_flowers.c@charleston.k12.sc.us
Downstairs Counselor (Skunk Bears/Wolf Pack): tori_hopkins@charleston.k12.sc.us
Students must complete and return the worksheets in the Job Shadow packet in order to be counted present for the school day. Students who participate in Go to Work With a Grown Up Day and do not turn in a Job Shadow Packet or parent permission form will be marked as an unexcused absence.
